Cats, mice, and cheese. (Or, actually, red squares, blue squares, and yellow squares). You move the cat (er... red square) arond with the cursor keys. The mice should run away from you until they get too hungry, at which point they begin to seek out cheese. Even if you, the cat, are very near said cheese.

How the Cathode Ray Tube (CRT) works.
This simulation shows how a CRT works. First a beam of electrons is created with an "Electron Gun". Each electron gun has two parts. A metal filament (red dot with [-] sign), which is negatively charged and is heated to create a stream of electrons (a thermionic emission), and second part is an electric field, which accelerates them to reach the positively charged anode (blue dots with [+] sign). When the electrons leave the electron gun, they have gained enough speed for the next stage.
Next, the electrons pass through an alternating magnetic field created by P1 and P2. As the density of magnetic field changes between P1 and P2, the angle of deflection of the electron beam changes accordingly. This causes the electron beam to sweep across the right hand wall which is coated with phosphor compounds and will make it to light up. It should be noted that in a real CRT, there are actually two separate magnetic fields for both vertical and hor… [ more ]

Use the arrow keys to move slowly. Use W,A,S,D to fly around with your super thrusters. Press spacebar to drop a bomb. You are the tiny blue robot. The tiny orange robots are your enemies. The enemies shoot heat-seeking missles. You give off heat, but so do the enemies and so do explosions from bombs or other missles. Your goal is to destroy all of the orange enemy launchpads.

Sad, Sad Mr Simson thumbnail image

Sad, Sad Mr Simson

Mr. Simson's is a sad man focused on eating and watching TV. Watch just how hungry he gets and how bored he becomes. Be nice to him. Mr Simson is based on Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs. This is not a complete game but just a minimal example of a Sim-sim showing how to compute diffusions, hill climb and select goals.

Terminator - The revenge of the T1000

Terminator vs terminator - no where to run, no where to hide. The T1000 wants to stop John Connot ar all costs. John being a small midget, cannot run as fast as the machine ready T1000 and will get caught - unless YOU stop him.

Terminator can either distract the T1000 for a time by running into him - be warned! the T1000 can outperform you and beat you in a fair fight. Lead him to the liquid nitrogen spill and teach him a lesson... for a time.

Zombie Attack! thumbnail image

Zombie Attack!

A plague of zombies has broken out in your hometown! Use molotov cocktails, guns, and your trusty shovel to survive against the horde of undead. Watch out! Each gun has a supply of only six bullets and each molotov pickup contains only three uses...

Use fire to frighten off and kill the undead, guns allow you to destroy them from a distance, and if all else fails get up close and personal with your handy shovel!

Move hero with arrow keys, change his direction with WASD, use a molotov cocktail with the f key, and use your gun/shovel with the spacebar.

Hero has six hit points, every hit by a zombie or passing through fire will reduce the hero's hit points by one. Bystanders randomly appear, attracting some of the zombies away from you. After being killed, a bystander will rise as a zombie.

Diffusion is used to spread variables fire (repulsion) and brains (attraction) across the game field for affect on the zombie AI.
