Watch the elements carbon (C), Hydrogen (H), and Oxygen (O) bond with each other. These elements are very happy together and will bond only once. But watch as Helium (He) comes near them. Since Helium is a noble gas, it has no valence electrons to bond with (the electrons are the dots on each element's symbol). There are really interesting things you can learn here besides bonding. After viewing, you should know the symbols for oxygen, hydrogen, helium, and carbon. You should also know how many valence electrons each chemical has. You can also note the Lewis structure diagrams for bonding here.

In a ESL (English as second language) classroom, there are students from different countries as well as different cultures. Watch how the students move to form their groups. There are also tutors assigned to the class but it doesn't matter where they are located as long as they are tutoring 3 or more students. Since there is less popularity of indian students...there is little thing that user can test. User can add more indian students by using the hand tool as well as delete other cultures' students (since their population is higher) with the hand tool. Try it out and see it yourself!!!

Observe the moving question marks among the bears and platypuses and based on the movement, try to discern its species. Make your species guess, then anticipate the direction it will move based on its neighboring animals. Next, click the question mark using the hand tool to reveal the species. As the question marks become fewer, they will move more quickly.

The Muzzles is a strategy game. The object of the game is to change at least 10 blue or red muzzles into green muzzles. You can change a blue muzzle into a red muzzle by whacking it by the hammer. Similarly, you can change a red muzzle into a blue one by whacking it. You can trap a muzzle by turning the tiles around it into walls to prevent it from moving around or to limit the area where it can move. If a muzzle is trapped from top, down, right and left by other muzzles of the same color, then the muzzle will turn green. Finally, throughout the game, the muzzles will be trying to find other muzzles of its own kind if it is surrounded by the opposite color muzzles. That is to say, the muzzles will be trying to segregate themselves into their own kind.

A modified Schelling segregation-based game. We're using diffusion instead of simple neighbor-checking, and rather than move when they're unhappy, blocks die. The goal here is to keep the game board clear.

This is not a game, just a basic template to build a segregation model (Thomas C. Schelling). Use the Simulation Properties (triangle in upper right corner) to adjust the simulation. Similarity indicates how many people around you you want to be like-minded: 1=all, 0.5=50% If there are fewer than that you will move out! Explore how low you will have to adjust similarity to avoid clusters, i.e., segregation.

Imagine of one type of people is much better at finding eachother then another type of people. How do you think this kind of thing would influece the development of a nation. This simlulation shows that the Reds come together more quickly and are very near each other for lots of time while the blues continuely try to get there act together

A puzzle game based on Schelling's segregation model. Instead of the agents moving randomly when they feel outnumbered, you get to tell them where to go. Your goal is to satisfy everyone using as few moves as possible.

A happy person can also becomes sad if there are many sad people nearby. A clown has more power to make sad people happy. You can select the happy people and change them to clowns. The goal is to make all sad people happy.
