Description

How do you know when a site is right? Searchy is a web-based activity extension of the World Wide Wonder Exhibit at The Tech Museum of Innovation in San Jose, California. The activities on this site are designed to help children and adolescents learn to evaluate sources they find on the Web as well as gain a basic understanding of how search engines work. Searchy is an engaging demonstration of how search engines find results based on query strings.

A cartoon guide asks questions in a quiz and elaborates on the answer. The users perceive this curriculet as a quiz under the context of the bigger problem of evaluating a web site's credibility.
