Incredible Physics Contraptions is a game that blends real-world physics with rube-goldberg machines, allowing emergent exploration of conceptual physics while capturing the interest of the player. The intended audience for our game is everybody! We used OpenGL for the graphics, SDL for cross-platform compatibility in the windowing and control systems. We also used the ODE (Open Dynamics Engine) for nearly all the physics in the game. Additionally, we used the expat XML library for parsing XML level files. The game was coded in C++.
