The proposed game is a supplemental learning application for students both inside and outside of the classroom. The target grade levels are 6th to 8th. Because most students at these grade levels will be engaged in learning geometry (based on the curriculum of the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics), the game will be geared towards applying knowledge of skills to different game scenarios and tasks. This game will not only be used as an enhancing tool in geometry, but will also provide engaging entertainment. “Dr. Lee’s Incredible Adventures: the Eye of Ra” includes numerous action—packed sequences set in the deserts and pyramids of Egypt that will appeal to students. Game obstacles include camel racing, bridge building, hawk hunting, encountering poisonous snakes, and battling grave robbers. Each level will provide exciting entertainment and at the same time will force geometric skills to be applied. The game is designed to mirror the lessons being taught in the classroom. It will be beneficial to both parents/teachers and students, as students will gain more confidence within themselves about the subject matter and parents/teachers will see improvement in school. Educational concepts are incorporated with a creative story line, which appeals to young children, teenagers, and adults.
