Watch 2 robot teams play a game of capture the flag. When 2 opposing robots collide, one of them is destroyed and a new robot will be generated. If a robot is carrying a flag, it cannot destroy other robots, but will be destroyed in a collision. Collaborative Diffusion is used to guide the AI. Each robot chooses a goal based on the current game state and a randomness factor. The possible goals are: 1) Capture enemy flag, 2) Defend your own flag, 3) Fight with enemy robots, 4) Return enemy flag to your own base. When returning the enemy flag to its own base, a robot will prefer to take a clear path, or one that is guarded by its own teammates, over a path guarded by enemies. More Information
