Genetic Life

Objective: Your goal is to generate creature's that are able to survive as long as possible.
Background:Your creature has a stomach size of 5 units and employs a random strategy to move around it's environment based on it's genetic code. Its genetic code is a sequence of four successive possible moves (stay put, left, up, right or down) each represented represented by the appropriate arrows.
Instructions:: Create a creature by selecting the pencil tool and the red creature from the Gallery. Place the creature on one of the yellow pellets in the upper-half of the screen, also known as the environment. Watch your creature carefully to see what kind of strategy they use to look for food. Your creature will (unfortunately) eventually die and fall down into the lab area. Create another creature by clicking on a pellet in the environment with the pencil tool selected. Once you have built up enough creatures, try "splicing" two together using the DNA Splicer. How long can the creature you created stay alive? Why?
